1. Who we are
This Cookie Policy explains how David Lander, trading as “Jomioz” (“Jomioz,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies and similar technologies on jomioz.com and related marketing pages.
- David Lander, trading as “Jomioz”
- Tax ID (NIF/NIE): Y8422959M
- Address: Calle San Isidro, 2 - La Orotava - Tenerife - Spain

Full imprint: https://www.jomioz.com/legal. How we use personal data more broadly is in our Privacy Policy. This page is the detailed notice for cookies and similar technologies (including localStorage, pixels, and tags).
2. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use similar technologies such as localStorage, sessionStorage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs) that read or write identifiers on your device or in your browser.
We group them as: (a) strictly necessary — needed to run the site or remember your cookie choice; (b) analytics — to understand how the marketing site is used; and (c) advertising measurement — to measure ads and related conversions. Analytics and advertising measurement on the marketing site run only after you accept.
3. How we ask for consent
On first visit we show a banner. Accept enables analytics and advertising measurement (including Google and Meta). Decline keeps only what is needed to run the site.
We store that choice in your browser’s localStorage under the key “jomioz-cookie-consent” (not as an HTTP cookie). You can change it on this page, by clearing site data for jomioz.com, or by emailing info@jomioz.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share” (that also opts you out of CCPA/CPRA “sharing” for cross-context advertising).
If you accept, third parties may set their own cookies. Those vendors are controllers of the data they collect for their own advertising or measurement products, under their policies.
4. Strictly necessary
These are used to operate the site, keep it secure, and remember your cookie choice. They do not require consent under EU/UK ePrivacy rules, but you can still block them in your browser — that may break language, forms, or sign-in.
- Cookie-choice storage (localStorage key jomioz-cookie-consent) — remembers Accept or Decline.
- First-touch / session attribution in sessionStorage (jomioz:attr:v1) — keeps landing-page and campaign parameters during a visit so a later trial signup can be attributed. After you accept, we may also persist this in localStorage and a first-party cookie named jomioz_attr (about 90 days).
- Hosting and security cookies set by our site host (Vercel) or the browser as part of delivering the page.
- On the Jomioz product (app.jomioz.com and the mobile app), authentication, locale, and session cookies are necessary to sign you in and keep the Service working.
5. Analytics (after you accept)
If you accept, we use PostHog on the marketing site to measure page views and product-interest events (for example trial clicks). PostHog is configured to persist with localStorage and a cookie.
We may also use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for aggregated performance and traffic. Those tools are designed to be privacy-oriented and do not replace the need for consent where we also load Google or Meta tags.
6. Advertising measurement (after you accept)
If you accept, we may load Google Analytics, Google Ads (including conversion tags), Meta Pixel (Facebook), and Meta’s Conversions API (server-side events). Typical identifiers include _ga, _gid, _gcl_au, _fbp, and click IDs such as gclid or fbclid.
This helps us measure visits, trial clicks, and ad performance. Under the CCPA/CPRA this may be “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.
You can also use Google’s ad settings and Meta’s ad preferences, and industry opt-outs such as youradchoices.com or youronlinechoices.eu, in addition to declining on our banner.
7. Product analytics (the Service, not the marketing banner)
When you use the signed-in Jomioz Service, PostHog records product-usage events (for example which features are used and basic diagnostics) so we can operate and improve Jomioz. That processing is part of providing the Service and is described in our Privacy Policy. It is not switched on or off by the marketing-site cookie banner.
8. Technologies we use
Names and lifetimes can change when a vendor updates their tag. This table reflects what we intend to use today.
| Name / tech | Provider | Purpose | Legal basis | Typical life |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| jomioz-cookie-consent (localStorage) | Jomioz | Remember Accept / Decline | Necessary | Until you clear it |
| jomioz:attr:v1 (session/localStorage); jomioz_attr cookie | Jomioz | Campaign / landing attribution | Session always; persist after accept | Session; ~90 days if accepted |
| PostHog cookie + localStorage | PostHog (EU) | Marketing-site analytics after accept; product analytics in the Service | Consent on marketing site; contract / legitimate interests in the Service | Vendor default (often up to 1 year) |
| Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights | Vercel | Aggregated traffic and performance | Legitimate interests / consent where required | Vendor default |
| _ga, _gid, _gcl_* and similar | Analytics and ads measurement after accept | Consent | Up to ~2 years (vendor) | |
| _fbp, _fbc and similar | Meta | Pixel / CAPI ads measurement after accept | Consent | Up to ~90 days (vendor) |
| Session / auth / locale cookies | Jomioz (product) | Sign-in, security, language in the Service | Necessary | Session or as needed for auth |
9. How to change or withdraw
Use the controls on this page to accept, decline, or show the banner again. You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may stop the site or sign-in from working.
California and similar US state residents can email info@jomioz.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share.”
Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not consistently implemented; we treat the banner choice (and a Do Not Sell or Share email) as the control that applies.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this Cookie Policy when vendors or our practices change. We will post the new version here and update the “Last updated” date.
